Koh Tao’s Iconic 3S Full-Day Dive Trip

Our adventure begins at Southwest Pinnacle! This dive site is made up of seven large granite rock pinnacles and is famous for its lush carpets of colorful anemones and playful Pink Anemonefish. The rocks around the site feature Sea Whips, Gorgonian Sea Fans, and Black Coral, with schools of Snappers, Trevally, Rabbitfish, Fusiliers, and plenty of Yellowtail and Chevron Barracuda. Keen-eyed divers will also spot a variety of macro life — a true paradise for underwater photographers! Larger residents such as Groupers and even frequent Whale Shark sightings make it an exciting dive.

Next, we head to Samran Pinnacle! A more secluded site that few dive operators visit. Samran has a series of granite rock pinnacles where you can see large schools of Jacks, Trevally, One-Spotted Snapper, Chevron Barracuda, and Yellowback Fusiliers.

The day concludes at the legendary Sail Rock! This spot is often considered the Gulf of Thailand’s top dive site. This granite pinnacle rises 15 meters out of the water and is famous for its vertical swim-through chimney. Sail Rock is essentially a wall dive covered with vibrant soft corals and anemones. You’ll encounter huge schools of marine life, including Trevally, Barracuda, Great Barracuda, King Mackerel, Tuna, Fusiliers, and Batfish. You may also see Giant Groupers, and there’s always a chance of a visiting Whale Shark. For advanced divers, a series of submerged pinnacles off the main rock offers exciting exploration. Its unique topography and abundant marine life make it the perfect finale to your day.
