Hin Ngam dive site, situated on Koh Tao's southeastern coast between Aow Leuk Bay and Shark Island, boasts a rocky coastline and diverse underwater wonders. With a maximum depth of 12 meters and a sandy bottom, it caters to both novice and advanced divers, making it an ideal spot for Advanced Diver courses and Rescue Diver scenarios.
This underwater haven features coral bommies scattered across the sandy floor, providing a home for intriguing creatures such as frogfish, scorpionfish, and nudibranchs. The boulders along the wall showcase various coral formations, while numerous ledges and crevices serve as perfect hiding spots for shrimps, pipefish, yellow box fish, stingrays, moray eels, and pufferfish. A vibrant array of reef inhabitants, including Yellow Tail Barracuda and Pink Anemone fish, add to the mesmerizing marine life spectacle.
