Say hello to the PADI Bubble Ring Artist (BRA) Specialty Course, proudly created by the Coral Grand Divers Family in the stunning waters of Koh Tao, Thailand!
What’s the BRA Specialty Course All About?
Have you ever seen those awesome bubble rings gliding through the water and wondered how they’re made? The BRA Specialty course is your ticket to learning the tricks of the trade. We’ll take you through a journey that combines knowledge development with practical hands-on action to make you the ultimate bubble ring master.
What Will You Learn?
In the BRA Specialty course, you’re going to get the lowdown on creating epic bubble rings.
Check out what you’ll be up to:
- Bubble Ring Techniques
- Learn how to create bubble rings using all sorts of styles:
- With the Mouth
- With Two Hands
- With One Hand
- With Fists in Front of the Mouth
- With Thumbs
- With the Foot
- With the Mask
Experiment and Adapt
Get Creative: Play around with hand positions, finger movements, and exhale speeds to find your unique bubble style.
Depth Dives: Make rings at different depths and see how water pressure changes things up.
Water Conditions: Nail your bubble rings in various water conditions, from currents to different visibility levels. No matter what, your technique stays on point.
Master Every Position
By the end of your three open water dives, you’ll be a pro at making bubble rings from all sorts of angles:
- Horizontal
- Vertical
- Inverted
To join the BRA Specialty course, you gotta:
- Be a PADI (Jr.) Open Water Diver or equivalent.
- Be medically fit for diving. Check the PADI Medical Form to make sure you’re good to go. If you answer 'NO' to all questions, you’re set. If you answer 'YES' to any, you might need a doc’s OK.
Course Details
- Total Time Commitment: 1 day minimum
- Minimum Age: 10 years or older
- Depth: Varies based on your diver level
