DIVER PRERQUISITES

For all divers
- No medical health problems according to the PADI medical statement. If there are any, they have to be cleared by a doctor prior to any in-water activities.

For Open Water Divers
- To be able to swim 200 meters without help or support from any flotation devices or swim 300m with mask, snorkel and fins.
- To be able to float or tread water for 10 minutes without help or support from any flotation devices.


For Advanced Open Water Divers
- PADI Open Water Diver Certification or equivalent.
- Logged dive within the past 12 months. If this requirement is not met, a refresher course is required to ensure the divers safety underwater.

For Rescue Divers
- Certified as PADI Adventure Open Water Diver or equivalent (must have completed navigation and deep dives).
- Certified as EFR or equivalent (Primary care and CPR) in the past 2 years. Certificate needs to be verified by PADI prior to starting the Rescue course. If this requirement is not met, the EFR course can be completed locally.
- Logged dive within the past 12 months. If this requirement is not met, a refresher course is required to ensure the divers safety underwater.

For Fun Divers
- Minimum PADI Open Water Diver Certification or equivalent.
- Logged dive within the past 12 months. If this requirement is not met, a refresher course is required to ensure the divers safety underwater.

DIVER PRERQUISITES

 

As proof of the last dive, fun divers and continued-education students must show their logbook or their personal dive computer. Also acceptable are dated underwater pictures or an email from any dive school / dive professional confirming their last dive.
